Next week I will be starting a new role as an Environmental Grants Manager with Arcadia Fund and I’m thrilled about supporting ambitious conservation projects around the globe.
Arcadia Fund is a charitable foundation of Dr Lisbet Rausing and Prof Peter Baldwin which funds projects in line with three key themes:
- Protecting endangered nature,
- Protecting endangered culture, and
- Promoting open access
The environmental grants portfolio includes long term grants with organisations such as the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, Fauna and Flora International and ClientEarth. Many of these partnerships involve landscape and seascape scale conservation activities in the most biodiversity rich regions around the world.
I’ve enjoyed an incredible year with the Great British Oceans coalition and wish my fellow ocean warriors all the best with their ongoing adventures and campaigns.
Now for a week off before the fun begins at Arcadia!
